180Youth is for High School aged students, although students in grade 7 get to join for the last term of the year to phase them in to youth group life.
What do we do at 180Youth?
Basically, our aim is to have fun learning about God and sharing life together. We meet every Sunday afternoon (during school terms) from 4:30 for fellowship and learning, and a couple of times a month we have a social activity where we just hang out and get to know each other better doing fun stuff like rock climbing, water skiing, ten pin bowling and going to the movies.
CAMPS
We generally have 2 camps each year… where we all go away together to a cool location for an intensive weekend of learning and fun. There are also other camps across the year, such as Easter Camp and the Noosa Experience (January holidays) and a Schoolies Week camp on Stradbroke Island, run by the Presbyterian Church for Year 12 graduates.
180Youth Leaders
At Central Church we’re very blessed to have a great team of leaders working under the oversight of Pastor Josh Acason. Every leader is a Blue Card holder and must abide by strict Policies and Codes of Conduct for working with youth. These guys are passionate about young people and seeing them reach their potential in Christ.
